Arkendale Village Hall
Plans are now well advanced to replace the existing village hall. The old building can no longer
be used and this means that there is nowhere to hold village events.
The really good news is that we have now applied for planning permission for a new hall on the
existing site. The Parish Council have supported the application.
The village hall committee believe that the cost of the new hall will be achievable with lots of
hard work! No longer are we looking at the previously muted sums of £250,000 plus, instead we are
confident that a suitable hall can be constructed for much, much, less.
Full details will be available shortly on this website – just as soon as planning consent is
obtained. In the meantime up to date information can be obtained from committee members. If you are
